hi there, my old laptop got fried..
and so i must replace it.
i just wanted to know whats the state of centrino support in linux in specifically in gentoo.
i guess someone might have asked this already but i didnt find anything
feel free to url me to the right place or mod the hell out of this thread if you feel i deserve it. |

Well, fan and power throttling works with 2.6.x kernel and the powernow daemon if that's what you want to know. |

thank you for the quick replies.
so i guess there are only minor issues right now using centrino with conjuction with the 2.6 kernel?
is there anything critical that wont allow me to use gentoo on such a laptop? |
