Grip (audio cd ripping software) gets killed in about 2 seconds after i start it.
When i run grip, it starts up, i can click buttons etc, then it just closes.
Code:
bash-2.05b$ grip
Killed
bash-2.05b$

Grip version 3.2.0 (lastest stable)
kernel version 2.6.5
IceWM version 1.2.14

I used to use grip on suse and never had such problem, that was very long time ago tho.
What could this be? Where should i look? :P

Code:
strace grip

Little debugging for starters. Well, starting with grip --verbose might also reveal something.

Ah thank you :)
I noticed that this was a problem with cds. First 2 cds i tried caused program to quit,
but with one other cd it worked well. I guess this is some bug in the progam.

All cds now worked well with cdparanoia tho, so i got what i needed :)

You can also run grip with the --verbose command line option to get debugging output on the terminal.

Yes. Or, you could also start grip from the command line by saying
Code:
grip --verbose
which provides you with much of the needed info.
