I have a CD with several files whose names have more than 37 characters, and I wanna create a ISO by putting some new stuff there, however the system prompted message that those files names had been changed into names with exact 37 characters.
If there are some constraints about the length of file name, how was my old CD created?
I used the following instructions:
*********************************************************************
mkisofs -allow-lowercase -allow-multidot -DdfJNl -iso-level 3 -no-iso-translate -max-iso9660-filenames
*********************************************************************
but those file names after done have still exact 37 characters but no more. Does someone know how to use mkisofs to create file whose length of file name is more than 37 characters? _________________ I think, therefore I am! |
