Hallo Leute!
Ich bekomme es einfach nicht auf die Reihe 
Ich lasse schon eine ganze Weile lang meinen Monitor auf 1280x1024@85Hz laufen. Allerdings bin ich schon genauso lange unzufrieden, weil 85Hz in meinen Augen flimmern (bin da wohl total empfindlich ...)
Jedenfalls mag ich dieses geflimmer nicht mehr ertragen. Ich weiß aber, dass ich unter Windows eine Auflösung von 1152x864@100Hz laufen lasse und würde diese einfach ZU GERN auch hier einstellen.
Doch egal wie ich es drehe und wende, ich bekomme IMMER nur 75Hz mit meinem Xorg zustande 
Selbst das stupide rumklicken mit dem xvidtune bringt nicht den gewünschten Erfolg...
Hat nicht mal jemand eine passende Einstellung für mich parat?
Sonst muss ich mir echt noch nen TFT kaufen |

passende einstellung habe ich jetzt nicht parat,
allerdings einen eventuell nützlichen link.

das dürfte ja wohl selbsterklärend sein.
ps: oder such unter google mal nach "modeline generator"

tchjo ... bringt leider keinen Effekt => 75Hz. Als wären die fest in die Graka eingebrannt oder so...

und es ist total egal welche Modline ich einbinde -> es sind _IMMER_ 75Hz. Lustig finde ich vor allem, dass ich 85Hz mit 1280x1024 komplett ohne Modline habe ...
Ich werde dieses X11-Monitor-Rätzel nie begreifen ... |

probiere mal dies hier

ne, noch immer 75Hz
läuft bei Dir 1152x864? Kannst Du mir vielleicht mal Deine komplette XF86Config/xorg.conf geben? |

du, ich hab mit dem modeline tool meinen syncMaster 950p auf 1152x864@100Hz gebracht.
ich hab den bist jetzt immer auf 1024x768@100Hz laufen lassen.
dazu hab ich nur die modeline von dem tool berechen lassen und hab sie in die xorg.conf eingefuegt.
deiner config fehlen meiner meinug nach ein paar eintrage damit die gfx die daten nicht selber ermittelt.

JAAA, endlich! Endlich funktioniert es!
Ich glaub, das lag nur an der Tatsache, dass ich die Modline in die Monitor-Section eingebaut hab...
Ich hab ne neue Section
gemacht und dort die Modlines eingebaut, wie es beim kriz im Beispiel ist. Nun nimmt er endlich die Modline!!
