Ecco due linee di comando per ottenere un terminale trasparente con Eterm e aterm.

Code:

Eterm --trans --shade 70 --borderless --border-width 0 --buttonbar false --scrollbar 0 -g 140x20+5+5 &

Code:

aterm -ls -g 140x20+5+5 -fg 7 -tr +sb -sh 15 -fade 85 -fn 7x14 -fb 7x14 -sl 10000 -cursorColor 7 +sr +rv -bg black &

In entrambi casi "-g AxB+C+D" indica la dimensione e la posizione (asse X e Y).

Per "incollare" il terminale al desktop rivolgetevi al vostro Desktop o Window Manager.
