|
|
Hi All,
I used to be able to lauch xgalaga from within fluxbox, by having:
Code: | [submenu] (Games)
[exec] (Xgalaga) {xgalaga}
[end]
| in the /home/user_name/.fluxbox/menu.
With the latest version (which resolved bug #56545) the above command will no longer launch it.
I have to su to root and then type the whole new path "/usr/games/bin/xgalaga" for it to come up.
Any ideas how I could run this from the fluxbox menu? _________________ Regards,

make a hard link from /usr/games/bin/xgalaga to /usr/bin/xgalaga.
I think that will work. |

Thanks for the quick reply,
I've made a soft link: Code: | ln -s /usr/games/bin/xgalaga /usr/bin/xgalaga | and I can launch it by su-ing to root only, but not from the fluxbox menu (because X will not run as root for security purposes).
I assume that a hard link would work in the same manner? _________________ Regards,
