How come when I change my DocumentRoot to opt/webserver I always get a Forbidden Msg when trying to view the site?

Most likely there is a <Directory> directive which forbids everything but your old DocRoot for access...

Thx for the tip but I found the solution you have to change the documentroot in bot apache2.conf and commonapache2.conf
