J'essai d'installer mon portable sous gentoo mais je me heurte depuis 3 jours systematiquement a un kernel panic !!
Qqu'1 connait-il cette erreur ??

Je precise que le systeme ce lance bien puis ce bloque mais j'ai qd meme l'image de fond et je suis bien en 1024x768
le noyau est 2.6.5-gentoo-r1

As-tu utilisé genkernel pour compiler le noyau ? |

en faire la premeire tentative j'ai compilé sans genkernel puis la seconde j'ai utilisé genkernel mais j'ai exactement le meme message.
Sinon dans mon dossier boot j'ai :
Sytemmap.2.6.5-gentoo-r1
gentoo-.2.6.5-gentoo-r1
initrd-2.6.5-gentoo-r1
franchement je vois pas ce que ca peux etre !!  |

| hum... Dans les options faut cocher des option qui parlent de tty, et sans doutes les mettre en dure... mais je sais pas te dire de mémoire ce qu'il faut. |

bon voila je viens de tester avec le .config du livecd mais ca fait pareil !!
en résumé que ca soit un noyau 2.6 ou 2.4 ca fait pareil !!
Pour situer etant sur portable j'ai comencé a l'installé a partir d'un stage 3 !
mon grub.conf (avec noyau compilé sans genkernel ):

je viens de trouver !!!  ctait juste le root=/dev/hda2 sur la ligne qui posait pb !!
