I am trying to figure out how to input Chinese on my newly installed Gentoo. Does anyone know how to do it?

I added those in /etc/env.d/00basic
| Code: |
LC_ALL="zh_TW.Big5"
LANG="zh_TW.Big5"
|
and added that bellow in /etc/profile

XIM_PROGRAM=xcin
XMODIFIERS="@im=xcin"; export XMODIFIERS
XIM=xcin
xcin &
|
this way on 2 gentoo system,
one xcin is ok, but another not.
I have no idea, this ok system I've tried locale doc.
and I've forgot what I do. :p |
