I justt wanted to make sure- with Gentoo LiveCDs will I be able to make a persistent home directory like on a USB memory key. I read about them on this blog http://www.oreillynet.com/pub/wlg/5190 and since Knoppix wont run on a Mac, Gentoo's my only other option, thanks for the help. |

It's possible to create your own LiveCD with catalyst and let it mount your home on the USB-memory key. But therefore you still need a Gentoo system to compile the CD.
And: There is a Knoppix-CD for PPC. But it isn't as much developed as the x86 Knoppix-CD. _________________ hacking is not a crime |
