hi leute,

hat jemand von euch mal hasciicam mit einer USB-Webcam oder mit einer anderen Kamera im "live"-Modus zum Laufen gebracht?

Wenn ja welche Kamera/Kernel/Modul Kombi hast Du?

Ist relativ dringend und ich hab keine Lust/Zeit/Kohle, auf gut Glück irgend eine andere Kamera zu kaufen, die dann auch wieder nicht funktioniert.

Vielleicht hast Du ne Webcam und auch Bock, hasciicam mal anzutesten:
aalib wird u.a. gebraucht:

tar xzf hasciicam-0.9.1.tar.gz
cd hasciicam-0.9.1
./configure && make

und dann z.B.

Code:

./hasciicam -s160x120 -d /dev/video0

meine Kombination:
Logitech QuickCam 3000 Pro USB
mit pwc Modul und 2.4.20-gentoo-r9 bzw. 2.6.7
und aalib-1.4 bzw. aalib-1.2

.. scheint ein hoffnungsloser Fall zu sein - würschtel schon seit zwei Tagen erfolglos und frustriert rum.
Würde mir extrem helfen, wenn jemand eine funktionierende Kamera nennt.
