I've heard a lot of talks about how gentoo is extremely fast compared to other bloated distros.
So i've decided to take out my old Pentium 2 Laptop and install Gentoo 2004.1
However the problem is
I've typed
gentoo dopcmcia
at boot but I want unable to get my PCMCIA ethernet card load up.
What can I do?
I've got the Universal x86 CD downloaded so , I could try it after I install everything. But I would like to get it work before I try the last solution.
Thanks.

Have you tried booting with just "gentoo" and doing
Code: | /etc/init.d/pcmcia start |
after you boot into the system? _________________ "We must all hang together, or assuredly we shall all hang separately."
