I emerged baselayout and when i did etc-update i overwrote my old group file.
I am now unable to SU, and I imagine many other things are messed up now that I haven't discovered yet.
I knew that doing what I did was going to cause problems, yet I did it anyways. Maybe a built in self-destructive subconcious thingy.
Anyways, is there a way to restore my old group file, and if not how can I allow SU to work again? |

Add your username to the wheels group and su should work again. Also, add yourself to the games group to play games.
p.s. you will need to logout afterwords for the cahnges to take affect. _________________ "Always do what you want, and say what you feel,

Either that or just edit /etc/group.
