Hi all
My ADSL ISP works using a bridged IP address . Until now, my modem has handled the bridging and routing, however i am wanting to move this to a gentoo box for obvious reasons. I can setup the bridge easily enough, on an internal network, however is there anything special I need to do considering DSL is involved? Is there something that needs to handle the encapsulation etc ??
Thanks

By bridged you mean it will pass thru whatever dsl modem you are using transparently and have the public (maybe nat'd) addy reside on eth.whatever? _________________ The realOTW: http://forums.realotw.org/index.php
