Hi,
when I download large iso-images with one of the linux-pcs in the network, it eats up our whole bandwith.
I can surf normal with the Linux-pcs, but a windowsbox seems to have problems with that and I-net is awful slow in it.
I'm searching for a setting in which I can type in a maximum of bandwith that is used for the connection to a I-net-gateway.

possible network preformance limitation of winxp ?
to crack down the download-speed a lit, try set it up with QoS-Kernelfunctions...

QoS is mostly used to limit the upload speed of a connection. It is possible to limit the download using the ingress qdisc.
