K3b doesn't work with mutli-session data cds

Hi all,
I've been trying to burn a multisession cd as I'm trying to test out soem file layouts and autoruns, etc. Basically k3b totally stuffs this up.

If I attempt to burn a new CD and leave the session open, k3b does the burn then just hangs on fixing, alternately spinning the cd up and down forever. Last time I tried it sat there for 10 minutes winding the cd up and down before I gave up. However the CD is actually burnt and works fine.

If I then try to burn another session onto a multi-session, k3b tells me it's burning, does nothing, does the fix and then exists saying it's done 100%. But in fact it has done nothing to the cd and the old contents are still there.

System: Asus A7N8X deluxe, Liteon 48x24x48 burner. 2.6.3 kernel, latest gentoo kde and cdrtools.

K3b used to be good, but this is very dissappointing.
