Nagios 1.2

I'm having a lot of trouble emerge'ing nagios (current version is 1.2) I've read HOWTO's about installing it, however none seem to pertain to 1.2. Is there any help?

it seems to emerge/compile just fine. However I can not find out what to do next, it seems there is no nagios man page, and no instructions.

That's pretty much the way it works. You're going to have to spend some time on the nagios site going through the docs and slowly building your configs until you get an idea of what you want. There just isn't any easy way to get rolling.
