|
|
I'm trying to do some key-bindings, and I want to turn on the screensaver with a certain keypress. I'm using xbindkeys to run the commands.
The command I need seems to be xscreensaver-command -lock, but running this gives me the error:
Code: | xscreensaver-command: no screensaver is running on display :0.0 |
I'm using KDE, and I have a screensaver set up and configured. It works fine if I choose "Lock Screen" from the KDE menu. What method could I use? |

KDE seems to have its own screensaver variant (like everything, probably named kscreensaver ) so xscreensaver-command will not work, |

Just disable the kde screensaver ( in the kde control-panel ) , then it will work...... |
