What does the Tags mean?

I have searched the documentation, but I must homehow have missed the explanation of the tags, when doing a emerge -p [package]

N means something not yet installed
U means that package was installed but will be updated
R means ?!?!?!?!?

Are the more tags ? and if I missed it somehow in the documentation, could someone please give me a link?

I'm a 100% newbie in linux. Only started with linux 2 days ago.

R means it's installed already, and the exact same version would be reinstalled. It's all documented in the pretend section of the emerge man page.
