Hi,
i recently bought an IBook G4 14.1" with 1 GHz G4
although i enabled CPU frequency scaling in the gentoo-dev-sources config it isn't recognized at bootup and there are no files for cpufreq in /sys
any ideas? |

Hmmm, I havn't done any work with cpufreq yet but I do know it needs to be patched in order for you to use your 1Ghz at it's full speed. Try looking in the thread "New powerbook, slow" or something to that effect. |

The patch is now in the 2.6.8 vanilla tree, but that version is currently in rc2 status - for now, apply the patch 101k mentioned, but as soon as you can find an ebuild for 2.6.8, you may want to grab it. _________________ Osmos.org
