Bootstrapping is atm, as I watch it from this pc across the room from my main beast, seemingly a LOT faster than if I used gcc-3.3.3............
The pain I went thru to get the 2.6 headers caused me to down more coffee than most doctors would think safe....*LOL*
Anyone interested in it, once I get my main install going, on being able to do a guide for those of us that do want to be able to go straight to these versions, its certainly doable .......not much else I can do atm while sick with a very nasty cold (almost gone tho)
And of course, benchmark scores will follow, soon as the machines up & running
Cheers for now, while I sit over here at the spare pc and watch my beast compile code _________________ If it isn't broke, you ain't tweaked it right
