Seeing as how I've accidentally run GNOME as root a couple times in my newbie days, are there any exclusive GNOME-related folders/files in /root that shouldn't be deleted? Or is it safe to remove most if not all of them, including...

| Yes, those are just the configuration files left over by the application. |

Yes, it is safe to delete the GNOME config files. Just take note that if you do start it up as root again, it will use the default configuration.
