|
|
First, sorry if this is the wrong forum, I was unsure where to put it.
The problem: I am composing messages in Thunderbird (mail-client/mozilla-thunderbird-0.6-r2), and it is wrapping the plain text (as per my request) at 70 characters. The issue is that, while it wraps as I am viewing the text, it does not insert line breaks where it is wrapping - and so my messages are delivered with very long lines, requiring the recipient also wrap the message. I know this is not urgent, but I see wrapping like this as an etiquette issue and would like to resolve it. I have searched these forums, google and the mozilla forums, and I have come up with nothing on fixing this. If anybody knows how to do it, then please tell me. Thank you. Until then, I guess I will have to keep inserting them manually and/or copy-pasting from a text editor. Here's hoping that gnome-vim (the bonobo, uhm, thing) finds it's way into Thunderbird one day... |
