I just compiled kde(and the rest of gentoo ), and i baked the usb stuff(as it said in the installation instructions) in the kernel(not as modules).
Now my usb works on my motherboard, but i also want my usb pci card to work.
No lights go on(of my mouse) when its connected to my usb pci card, this usally worked with redhat and mandrake.
Its a pretty standard pci card from intel so it should work, does anybody know what i need to enable in my kernel to make it work?
Thx in advance,
RickDB
PS: do i need to disable my usb motherboard connections in the bios for it to work ? |
