|
I was wondering how it is that people make their info look like:
Quote: | korr_ban is EARTH@HIGARA.web* Bam Hooper
korr_ban on #slackware ##linux #gentoo
korr_ban using kornbluth.freenode.net Frankfurt, DE, EU
korr_ban has been idle 10secs, signed on Wed Jul 21 00:13:22
korr_ban End of /WHOIS list. |
How do they make that EARTH@HIGARA.web
I am running:
dnsmasq
iptables
My server is router/firewall/dns/dhcp and soon to be proxy.
If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be great or if you know just tell me how to do it.
SOLUTION
You have to use BNC IRC Proxy

Lots of those weird names in freenode are actually done by the server software using some masking technique for example. Further explanations can be found in freenode's homepages I think. |
