smbrun: fork failed with error

After 90 days uptime my gentoo samba server reports

[2004/07/21 10:26:55, 0] lib/smbrun.c:smbrun(87)
smbrun: fork failed with error Resource temporarily unavailable

if I try to print somthing.

A restart didnt solve the problem. What do I missing? The System is Linux block 2.4.22-ac4 #5 SMP
