Recieving an error upon startup

Installed Gentoo through the guides. At the begining of startup I recieve this error.

Beware I am a total Linux NEWB

fsck.ext2 Nof SUch file or Directory while trying to open /dev/boot
/dev/boot:
The superblock could not be read or does nto describe a correct ext2 filesystem. If the device is valid and it really contains an ext2 filesystem, then the superblock is corrupt.

Look in the /etc/fstab as you most likely forgot to edit it and replace BOOT SWAP and ROOT with the actual hardware devices.
