Okay, I had CS-steam working for a while right? well not anymore. condition zero won't work either. I don't know what I did! Anyway, I can get it into where it shows the backdrop for condition zero but the "find servers" and "options" etc... buttons never show up. it just sits there. weird...

anyway, I'm using cedega (wineX4) with default config. someone please help this addicted gamer!
the withdrawels are pushing me to the edge...

Found out it was driver issues:

alright, fixed it.

I uninstalled alll drivers and everything and emerged the 6106 (put ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86" in /etc/make.conf for this emerge [for beta software masks]) and I was able to run opengl-update nvidia with no problems. I added the nvidia module into autoload and rebooted. I then emerged nvidia-settings (also with ACC KW x86) and rebooted again (for safe measure) all is well now so I guess that's what did it.

I lied! it was a sound issues all along!

I rebooted and what not and my opengl games stopped working so I was bent. I was later dinking around with xmms and changed my audio to a specific device (/dev/dsp) and viola! opengl games work again. problem is no sounds in kde anymore
