|
Hi, I just finished mounting my windows(NTFS) drives in gentoo.. but i can only view them as root. I tried changing the permissions of the drives with chmod and by right clicking on the drives.. but i get the error:
"Changing the attributes of files is not supported with protocol devices"
Someone told me something about changing the umask in /etc/fstab but i wasnt sure.. any help is appreciated! _________________ -------------------------------

The "uid" and "gid" mount options can be used for setting the user/group of a mounted file system... Full details can be found in the man page for mount. |
