|
|
Where i found it: http://www.pookey.co.uk/mysql-apache.xml
Module's homepage: http://www.crazygreek.co.uk/content/mod_shapvh
Apparently this module lets you store and retrieve your virtual hosts on-the-fly from a MySQL db.
Anyone use/hear of this module? I'd like to know if its at least semi-stable before compiling and dropping it in.
Thanks for any help |

That is awesome!! I always wondered if there was a module that did that. I have a PostgreSQL server so I'll have to change the code to talk to postgres. I will definately post my experience here.
Thanks!!! _________________ Weeks of coding saves hours of planning. |

Actaully...we already have postgresql support... I'll dig it out.
it works really well, however due to limitation in apache (not the code) you are limited with your vhost defintions. This won't allow you to configure options on a per-vhost basis. this being said, you can use this module side by side with standard vhosting.
Email me if you have questions. |

I now have the postgres version, but it's not hosted anywhere. Please email me if you require a copy. |
