I got this wierd problem where my upload/download curves both look like this:
VVVVVVVVVVVVV

In other words it spikes constantly (every second perhaps).
I am using the superkaramba theme synapse to se the curves. It could be a problem with the theme, but since i seem to have almost no bandwith, i guess not. I can't even find anything that should connect to the internet running on my computer.

Is there any command that lets you view how much bandwith something consumes? Like top perhaps?

thank you, nettop was exactly what i was looking for :-)
I am not sure exactly what everytging means, but if the bit/s column
is all zero, no bandwith is consumed?
