I skimmed through the search but didn't find anything relevant to what I'm looking for.
I have a bit of spare cash and would like to get a TV/Video-in card. What I want to do is this:
Play my PS2 through it onto my monitor.
Capture gameplay stuff or other video for editing.
It has to be completely and 100% compatible with both Linux and Windows and be good for doing MJPEG, MPEG2 or MPEG4 transfers direct from video, with sound. And I would also like a high resolution too. (Nothing higher than the MPEG2 standard -- 720x640 -- is needed.)
Thanks for suggestions. Links would be helpful too. _________________ I was a Gangster for Capitalism, by Major General Smedley Butler.

This thread might be helpful. Good luck. TV cards are a pain in the butt.
