Does anybody here know what the native size for the glxgears window is?
I do not know if I am giving accuartae results in my howto and I know that the size for the window has been altered but I want the most general results that I can provide to teh forums because I am attempting to make it the definitive howto.
So if anybody could tell me taht would be great...

If things are working well the size should not matter to much...
When I first used GLX gears I had great results when you start it up and its small... when I resized the box it went to splat..
I found then that reducing my color depth to 16 (on Nvidia GEforce2Go) made things work much better...
another way to benchmark you FPS is to emerge the UT2004 demo (and its a fun game)
emerge ut2004demo (I think, check in portage, or do emerge -s UT) |
