Has anyone got this particular printer working with Sane? Please, help me get my scanner working, its the last piece of hardware needed from my conversion from windows!

I've only got my 3000 series scanner working but I think this should help. Checkout this thread for a modified ebuild that integrates a different SANE backend:

The web site (http://home.kabelfoon.nl/~bertrik/hp3300c/index.html) indicates that your scanner is supported too.

Yeah least night i found this site and attempted patching the sane backends. It worked! Now my scanner works! And faster than when it was in windows too! But i might still want to try the ebuild...

EDIT: Maybe I won't bother with that ebuild.. it is older than mine.
