Well guess what... after a long ass time of setting up the server.. and making it all nice and pretty... i wanted to try out Plesk7 to manage my network.. and let me tell ya that software kicks ass..

So i installed SuSe 9.0 (plesk dont work on gentoo) or it does but i dont wanna waste time on it..

Well the problem with suse is that when i try to connecto to the server.. via hostname it dont let me..

if i do this...

ssh user@yourowndisaster.net (access denied) cant connec to server

but if i do this..

ssh user@67.121.58.155 is connects... I've done many nslookups on the domain and it always points to my IP so whats wrong...... what did i do wrong..

http://67.121.58.155 connects..

http://yourowndisaster.net dosent...

I know this is not a SuSe support forum.. but i know one of you guys must have gone throug this at somepoint and i hope you can help me!

Sincerely:

Hector Moreno
