I've installed the base system onto an old HP machine that has been retired at the office, everything went well until trying to boot the new system. I'm fairly sure I have configured PALO with the correct parameters but I can't seem to get it to work. It prints the kernel and initrd names and then just seems to hang. What methods are there for debugging problems at this stage? |

Did you by chance forget "VGA text console" in the kernel?
If not, when it hangs do you still hear/see activity? Or does it just appear frozen? |
