qmail/vpopmail w/ procmail question

I'm trying to generate an email from a cron job on my mail server.. I have a bunch of procmail scripts setup so that certain emails are moved into subfolders automatically..

My problem is that I'm having trouble with the cron job not using procmail. I pipe it through "qmail-inject <local email address>", which delivers the mail just fine, except it ends up in INBOX instead of a subfolder of INBOX.. I've tried having the cron job execute procmail directly, but the permissions of the outputted email file were not correct, and i ended up hosing my imap sesssion until i fixed the permissions..

if anyone knows of an alternate method if telling qmail to send the message through procmail first, please let me know!
