I have the popular sil3112 SATA and raid controller. i have two drives in raid0 mode, with windows and data on it. I installed linux onto a ide drive, but i want it to mount the partitions on my raid set. From what i have gathered, this was possible with 2.4, but no works with 2.6? Is this true? the kernel does reconize both drives, calls them sda and sdb. it can not mount them though. So the sata part is working, i think |

Check the medley mailing list for some info on this, there are a few reports of succesful reading and writing data from a siimage raid array using 2.6, but very experimental yet (I haven't tried) |
