finally starting on my korean input
i've emerge ami...it won't run
and i've emerged korean fonts...but none show up in my application windows
what else do i need to do to get korean input in gentoo? |

At every emerging, try to look at USE available adding -v option to emerge.
If you like to see Korean characters in an application, turn on 'cjk' USE, for example,
# USE="cjk" emerge xmms _________________ Nothing but freedom belongs to Linux |

ok, but what does the -v option do?
and thanks for the cjk tip
but then, i'm absolutely lost on how to add font directories...maybe i missed that in the handbook, i'll go back and look on that...or you could tell me how here...and that'll be even better. |

now you're confusing me
you've just posted installation instructions for gentoo in korean
i don't need those
i've got gentoo installed
i have ami emerged
i have baekmuk-fonts emerged
all i want to do is get korean input in gui
i could care less about terminal...i can do everything i wanna do in terminal in english.
now how do i do that? |
