Alright, i'm trying to set up an xvnc server so I can remotely handle all thing GUI related with my box. Generally, my gentoo system won't have a keyboard, mouse or monitor hooked up to it so I want to be able to use the GUI and not just ssh in when i want to. I have emerged xf4vnc but am unsure how to go about setting up beyond this point. Is there a specific gentoo easier way of going about this? or should i just go along with the realvnc documentation i can find virtually anywhere on the net? Thanks. |

I think that you should just be able to run the server then login as any user who has an account on the system. I havent used that specific vnc server but ive used tightvnc, etc and thats how theyve worked. _________________ The realOTW: http://forums.realotw.org/index.php
