|
|
Hello,
I recently installed Gentoo Linux with the Grub bootloader. The problem is, I messed up on the grub.conf file, so now I can't get into my Gentoo partition (my windows XP one still works, thankfully). I tried to get to it through using the live-cd, but I'm too newb to be able to find grub.conf so I can alter it. Can anyone help me? Thanks.

I had the same problem. I was told that by default, /boot isn't mounted.
Simply mount /boot
then edit nano -w /boot/grub/grub.conf |
