I had been following the whole netmount issue with eth0 and it failing at boot. I tried the whole unmerge hotplug and resort back to the 20040105.ebuild. However this didn't fix it for me. I can boot from the Live CD, which auto detects my card and sets it up, and then mount and chroot into the gentoo install which gets old quickly. I can't seem to find any other threads that have helped. Any suggestions would be great. |

You mean that the card doesnt detect on boot? Or it doesnt configure to the ip/gw/dns etc that you have specified? |

is the module loaded for your specific card? check to see if its compiled into the kernel, if not, make usre that you add it to /etc/modules.autoload.d/kernel-2.x |
