Hi,
Where do I find truetype or type1 fonts? The most exiting font I have is "sans" - "emerge -s font" was my best bid....didnt turn up anything interesting. But perhaps I shouldnt be expecting fonts to be part of the portage system? Is it just as good to locate and download the fonts...make a reference in xorg.conf and perhaps that works so that I have access to them in Gnome/XFCE4? Any good urls? |

/usr/portage/media-fonts
is a good place to start. Emerge the bitstream-vera fonts... they are really nice |
