|
|
If I've already run and installed the ndivida drivers as well...
Now I'm wondering if this tutorial http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/dri-howto.xml applies to me if I still want to install DRI? Do I need DRI for hardware accelleration in X?
Thanks in advance for any help!
Besides this issue, not even really an issue, I now have my first gentoo installation up and running (I'm excited)... thanks to everyone who has helped me with my little kinks in the system to get it to where it is now..

WillyumYum,
DRI is not supported by nVidia. Their drivers do their own thing, so you have it anyway. There are lots of options to play with in xorg.conf, see the nVidia readme. _________________ Regards,
