I would like to make my Gentoo Linux system more like Windows ( ) in that I would be able to do something like boot my system up unplugged from any ethernet, plug it in and have it get a DHCP, then unplug it, and then plug it in again and have it take a new DHCP address. How can this be done under Gentoo? I know Knoppix does some type of backgrounding. |
