|
|
Hello all, I have a Surfboard 4200 with an old firmware version that I want to upgrade. My ISP is pigheaded and won't help me out, so I'm taking it upon myself to upgrade it.
After a little bit of Googling, I found a few pages with newer firmware images and a few pages with HOWTOs. Unfortunately they all use tools for Windows, with the exception on a TFTP server, which is available in portage. I can use Wine for these programs, but I thought I'd ask here if anyone else has had any success upgrading their firmware using linux only tools.
Thanks for any responses..... |

Does your surfboard run gentoo?
There's probably not many ppl in these fora using your modem, mate. I think you might have more luck elsewhere!!! |
