hi,

i just want to be able to rotate my screen with kde 3.2.3. it seems that it uses (x)randr for this. but when i execute xrandr i get

Rotations possible - normal


why is this? what have i missed to configure?

What driver are you using? I'm unaware of the status of most drivers, but I do know (unfortunately) that the nVidia binary drivers don't support rotation. There's a hackish way to get the nv driver to do it, but I don't remember it. Sucks, I know.

like i said in the topic: ati-drivers (fglrx)

i do not need 3d accel on this system so i could use xorg-x11's radeon module as well.
