my bootloader has the vga=791 statement in it, which means 1024x768@16. But the problem is that the refresh rate is too low (i think its 75). Is there a way to set the refresh rate? |

i would recommend to use the new vesafb-tng driver. you can get it here. it is far better than the old one and patching a kernel is less comlicated than juggling with modelines.. _________________ geek by nature, linux by choice
