Is it safe to remove the source archives after installing packages, in order to save disk space?
They will be automatically downloaded if they are needed again, right? |

Yes, it is safe to delete them. If you can, consider keeping some, as downloading them all the time adds to the already heavy bandwidth usage. Check Cleaning out stale distfiles for a way to clean out older files, while keeping current ones. Also, you can burn the files to a rewriteable CD if you have one available.
