Why doesn't this forum has a active topics list?

It would probably be too long. At the top of the main page you can click "View posts since last visit". You can also do what I do... Just look for the little orange icons.

Virtually all of the forums here have activity every day, and all the active threads bubble up to the top of each. If you look at the most recent posting dates, you'll see that almost ever forum has about a dozen threads with posts in the past 24 hours or so.

Also, at the top of the page is a Statistics link, which includes lists of top 10 Most Active Topics and Most Viewed Topics.
